Enjoying your comments as always! There are two things that I would like to say about Nathan! Number one is that he’s building a great legacy as a mounty himself! All the arrests, saving Elizabeth’s life twice and taking down the master mind Jeanette! We know that his reputation was so great and respected because he was chosen to lead that training mission! In many ways, he has surpassed Jack! Secondly, Ive thought about the medal a lot and may write my first story about it! I believe Nathan represents the medal! He is the medal to Elizabeth. He’s everything that the medal stands for. Bravery, leadership, selflessness and many other traits! I want Nathan to be rewarded but Im not sure it happens with Hargreaves around. You are correct! Their love story is deep and has layers that we continue to peel back like the onion. Thats why it made sense for them to be together and not Elizabeth with the “ tea drinker “. Their growth may only come through pain! I would also like the story of Nathan being assigned to Coal Valley originally! That would add some emotion and tears! Thanks again!
I think of the Governor's medal as his Commissioner's medal. He earned it and would never think it was appropriate to be rewarded for doing his job. His legacy is most certainly being built and I would even add Allie to that legacy.
Absolutely! Jack said the same thing, " only doing my job ". Thats the only similarity between the two men besides their love for Elizabeth! Also, I could see a deep relationship built with Nathan and Oliver. That would be a great thing to see.
Great post! There is so much to look forward to this season!! Little Jack at school will be a fun story to follow! And I am interested to see how Nathan will resolve his guilt, thinking there may be space between him and Elizabeth at some point.
